MCA Consultation on Filing Reforms & Simplifying Compliance for Viksit Bharat 2047

The MCA, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), has launched stakeholder consultations to rationalise the filing architecture under the Companies Act, 2013.

The reform proposes a transition to a data-centric and technology-driven compliance framework, including:

• Consolidation of forms under MCA21 Version 3
• Expansion of Straight Through Processing (STP)
• Pre-filled, modular filing systems with API-based data sharing
• Interoperability with GSTN, CBDT, SEBI, and RBI systems

Multi-city consultation series scheduled across April-May 2026.
